Routine Maintenance

The following list of items are things that you, the proud owner of a Sport Lodge by Pro Fish Enterprises can do to maintain your unit to keep it operating in top shape.  If you can not perform these things or wish to have a professional do them for you, you can make an appointment with the staff at Pro Fish Enterprises to have your Sport Lodge serviced and ready to go for the upcoming Ice Fishing Season.

1. Add a dab of grease to hitch coupler monthly when towing often
2. Check hitch safety pin for wear and replace if necessary
3. Check removable hitch pins for wear and replace if necessary
4. Check safety cables for breaks or fraying and replace if necessary
5. Check LP Tank Holddown for tightness before every towing
6. Check LP Regulator Vent on bottom of unit to avoid clogging
7. Check LP lines for any damage and replace immediately
8. Check trailer light wires for damage and repair or replace immediately
9. Check tires for proper inflation
10. Retorque lug nuts after initial 100 miles and then every 1000 miles
11. Grease wheel assembly every 500 miles with 5 pumps of grease for every zerk
12. Repack wheel bearings and replace seals every year before the new Ice Season
13. Check winch assembly for wear and replace if necessary
14. Check winch straps for fraying or tearing and replace immediately
15. Check suspension pins and replace if showing wear
16. Check taillight operation before every towing
17. Test all LP and Co2 detectors before each trip and replace immediately if they fail
